Mobile Device Management (MDM)

Note that this feature is only available to iOS users for now.

Starting with version 1.2.0 QRcard has full support for MDM on iOS.

MDM allows you to pre-fill your employees’ business cards and keep them up-to-date. We do implement MDM as documented by Apple, so your current MDM service should work out of the box. For the best MDM integration: Get QRcard Premium on the AppStore.

How can I opt-in for MDM for my company?

At the moment MDM is available to all companies that wish to use it.

How much does it cost?

There are no additional costs for managing QRcard installations via MDM. Keep in mind, however, that the same limits apply as always, that is:

• Only limited information will be displayed without the premium version
• If you, or your employee wishes to use more than one card (managed or not) you’ll have to purchase an additional card

To fully integrate MDM we released a separate premium version that does not require in-app purchases. Get QRcard Premium on the AppStore

How do I prefill cards?

Basically, you just have to send a Configuration command for the cardData key to the employee’s device, containing a JSON payload in a specific format.
